
March 7th , a Trip to Juifen
My friends and I went to Juifen on weekend in the first week of this new semester. I had been waiting for the chance for a long while, I was truly excited about travelling with my friends.
As soon as we arrived at the tourist spot, we had lunch at a local restaurant, which features Hakka dishes. Walking into ancient building, we felt the atmosphere of relaxation. They served Hakka Style Fried as appetizer and it was too delicious so that I was so expected to coming dishes. Besides, We tasted Lei cha, a kind of traditional tea of Kakka culture, which is aromatic. Although the price was expensive, I appreciated the restaurant for its atmosphere and delicious food.
Juifen, a historic spot famous for gold rushing, so we explored the mystery of gold rushing. We visited a gold rushing museum, the museum decent was from the background of gold rushing family, thus he grew up heling his family gold rushing. He shared his story with us, and the technique of gold rushing, which was unique in nowadays. After the day of exploring Juifen, I knew the history and enjoyed the food there, and I was deeply fascinated by the mysterious, beautiful place. We took a lot of picture here, hope we can travelled Juifen again in the future.
